Injection Therapy

What is it?

Injection therapy is the administration of vitamins and minerals into a muscle, under the skin or into adipose tissue.  By injecting the vitamins and minerals directly into the tissue, the absorption rate is greatly increased.

Some of the common nutrients that can be injected include, but are not limited to:

  • B Vitamins
  • Choline
  • Inositol
  • Chromium
  • Magnesium
  • L-carnitine

What does it treat?

Injection therapy can be used to:

  • Facilitate weight loss
  • Restore hormone balance
  • Restore nutrient levels (especially with long standing digestive issues)
  • Increase Energy
  • Support liver health
  • Decrease pain and inflammation
  • Improve athletic performance

Intravenous Therapy

What is it?

Intravenous therapy is the administration of vitamins and minerals directly into a vein.  IV therapy works by actively transporting vitamins and minerals into the cells, as a result the absorption rate is greatly increased.

The most common nutrients that are injected intravenously include:

  • Vitamin C
  • B Vitamins
  • Magnesium
  • Calcium
  • Amino acids (Glutathione, Taurine, Arginine)
  • Selenium
  • Minerals (zinc, copper, manganese)

Why IV therapy?

Oral vitamins and minerals may not work as efficiently due to a limitation of absorption through the gastrointestinal tract.  Intravenous vitamin injections can rapidly increase concentration of nutrients in the blood and push the nutrients into the cells.  This can result in kick starting your metabolism, increasing energy levels and improving detoxification leading to quicker prognosis and improved overall health.

What are the advantages?

  • Immediate bio availability of nutrients
  • Absorption of nutrients into the blood is complete and reliable
  • Large doses of vitamins and minerals can be delivered at a continuous and intermittent rate
  • By passes the gastrointestinal tract and the liver, which means there is a direct absorption of nutrients into the blood

Who can benefit from IV therapy?

IV therapy can benefit everyone.  It can be used to increase energy, speed up healing time, boost immune system, improve athletic performance and much more.

Some conditions that can be supported and treated with IV therapy include but are not limited to:

  • Gastrointestinal diseases (celiac, IBS, food sensitivities, chronic heartburn, gastritis, liver disease)
  • Metabolic conditions -diabetes
  • Mental illness - anxiety, depression
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Autoimmune conditions
  • Chronic inflammation
  • Musculoskeletal injuries
  • Oncology support and care
